Warwickshire History

The Society's journal Warwickshire History, first issued in 1969, is published twice a year.

We welcome articles on any aspect of Warwickshire's history (4,500-9,000 words long), but please contact the Editor to discuss your proposal and use our Notes for Contributors guidance.

Individual issues cost £8.00 (excluding P&P, overseas rates upon application info@warwickshirehistory.org.uk).

The Warwickshire Bibliography

The Warwickshire Bibliography 1980 to 2024 is an amalgamation of annual bibliographies compiled by R. J. Chamberlaine-Brothers and continued by Christine Woodland, published in 'Warwickshire History' since 1980.

The bibliography is in portable document format (PDF), requiring a PDF reader to open it. Adobe’s Acrobat Reader is the suggested tool for reading PDFs. It’s free, and it’s available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Your browser (e.g. Firefox, Google Chrome) can probably open it and is already the default app. Double-click the link to open the file. If this does not work, right-click the file, point to the “Open With” menu, and then click your favourite browser.  Once the file is open, you can use Control F (Command F on Macs) to search for a particular word.
